Teaching Bio

Bernard Hiller has been in the industry for over 30 years. He studied with many of the greatest acting teachers in New York and Los Angeles. Developing his own unique techniques and exercises he soon became a sought after acting coach in N.Y.C. He moved to Los Angeles in 1990 where he now trains Hollywood professionals using his methods for achieving acting success.

Bernard has started the careers of many well known television and film actors around the world including Cameron Diaz and Chace Crawford "Gossip Girl". His acting and success techniques have been featured on Television shows, magazines and newspapers from all over the world. (see Press page for more information) He coaches actors on movie sets and often gives his much sought after Master Classes in London, Paris, Sydney, Berlin, Rome and Barcelona. He has been asked to teach his technique at the world renowned "Moscow Art Theatre" and in Tel Aviv he held a special workshop at the "Shimon Peres Peace Center" for Palestinians and Israelis. He has been a guest lecturer and on the jury at many film festivals around the world including the Italian Film Festival, the Polish Film Festival and Mallorca Film Festival, in Spain.

Bernard has given workshops on "Acting for Animators" at several studios and recently worked on the Oscar nominated "Surf's Up". He also trains C.E.O's ,top executives and leading companies around the world the art of sales presentation and public speaking. (See Corporate page for more information) Bernard starred in 3 hit Television reality shows around the globe including "The Starlet" for NBC with Faye Dunaway, "California Dreaming" for British Television on Channel 4 and "Mission Hollywood" with Til Schweiger for Germany.

Bernard started his career as an actor and dancer at the "High School of Performing Arts" in NYC he then performed in several Broadway musicals. He has worked on Films and TV with George Clooney, Julie Andrews, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helen Mirren, Kate Hudson and coached Vanessa Hudgens, Jennifer Garner, Billy Crystal, Melissa Gilbert, Jeff Goldblum, and Richard Dreyfuss to mention only a few. He is currently writing his first book based in his acting techniques called "The Secrets of Total Success"
